The handset is the upgrade to their immensely popular N95 dual slider. Its form factor, as I’ve said before looks like a hybrid of the N95 and the N81. A dual slider, the N96 comes equipped with a 2.8-inch QVGA display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and 16 million colors.

The N96 is a GPS-enabled handset and also comes equipped with a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and flash.

This full featured handset is estimated to cost about Rs. 32,000 (£400).

We can expect this handset hopefully in time for Christmas.

“At just Rs. 2,300, the iPod shuffle is the most affordable iPod ever,” said EY Yeo, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Apple Asia Pacific. “We’ve also introduced a new 2GB model that lets music lovers bring even more songs everywhere they go in the impossibly small iPod shuffle.”

The iPod shuffle comes in four colors – silver, blue, green and purple with up to 12 hours of continuous audio playback. It syncs seamlessly with iTunes and the “Auto-fill” function allows the iPod shuffle to randomly select songs from a music library and sync them.

My experience : I have used R52 Model of IBM Thinkpad Series which gave me a high end experience and performance during the process of software development even when I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate edition on the machine. despite of all other incompatibilities in hardware the machine kept me happy with the performance and output speed even after installing Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 within the memory of 768MB shared for dispaly
